You
might have noticed that in the main version of Yes We Are Magazine (on
Tumblr), under the pressure of independentists from various Spanish
regions, I had taken the habit about one year and a half ago, to tag
them not only with their nationality as I have always done, in this
case, it was giving “Spanish photographers”, plus “Catalan
photographers” or “Basque photographers”. And that was all, because the
other regions almost don’t revendicate aggressively and hatefully.

I was
also doing it because it seems so important for the independentists of
these two regions, to be considered as a member of the whole they
prefer, between the country and the region. The thing is that they don’t
only “prefer” one whole compared to the other, the largest one, they
simply HATE the largest one. And I’m fed up with this hate.

Now it’s OVER. OVER. The tag will be “Spanish photographers”. Not any
effort from me anymore in direction of these revendications. Fed up with
regional extremism. I don’t tag “photographes bretons” ou “photographes
provençaux”. Ca va comme ça !!
